Just facts: Amateur WC silver medalist Olympic champion 2 time 3 belt unified HW champ 9W - 4L record in title fights Defeated 8 top10 rated HWs Very few have donne this much. Gotta respect.
Lummox is lucky he boxed the lighter punching Klitschko because there's no way in hell that chin is eating a flush Wlad right hand or left hook. 100% he would've been laid out cold if Wlad detonated one of his bombs on Lummox's glass jaw and he surely would've. The right hand a still very formidable Wlad dropped AJ with would've laid Lummox out for a fortnight And, again, Lummox was run out of the sport by Vitali who if not for the cut would've knocked him spark out. Lummox quit the sport in disgrace. He's a deserter who abandoned his fellow troops on the battlefield like a coward and he must be the only 'great' fighter in history who has been one punch ironed out x 2 in the midst of their prime and certainly the only one who got one punch ironed out by a binman and a crack addict Why would I need to cope you're the one who is all in your feelings crying your baba tears about AJ again? And the irony of you mentioning wells when you could fill a thousand of them with said baba tears
People would be more forgiving of Joshuas losses had he cleaned out his era and fought more big names. If there was a good resume to go along with the losses they would be less of a problem
Out of the three? Yes, clearly. 3rd best in the division though? No way - Povetkin would've dominated him for starters, Whyte probably would've beat him (hence the ducking) and Parker might always have beaten him too... Heck, I've long suspected Chisora might've beaten him too. Wilder really was a paper tiger - a fiction as a serious contender, and only even a fringe contender because he had the power to have a punchers chance against most.
The thing about Joshua is he missed out on so many of his contemporaries that it seems impossible to rate him even in the context of his own era. How do you suppose we rate a guy who shared an era with Fury Usyk Bakole Zhang Wilder Kabayel Dubois Joyce Hrgovic Hunter Etc And failed to beat any of them? How can we be confident he makes the top 3 or even top 5 of his own era Lennox at least proved himself a standout in his own era
Chisora openly said many times he didn’t want to fight wilder, mainly because he wants to stay alive. nobody dodged Whyte or Chisora, they are on a similar level and we saw how poor Whyte was against fury. The hype he made in the media was seen clearly to be false. and povetkin fight was on. Or was it wilders fault povetkin popped dirty?
Weirdo, this thread has nothing to do with Lewis, yet you mentioned the Vitali fight as criticism when Lewis beat him ? What does Vitali have in common with ddd ? This sounds like a cope on two fronts. joshuas resume is mythical dog crap, this is why dubois blasted him out with 0 difficulty.
Donkey brain, this thread was about AJ but then you, due to your pathological hatred of him and your fetish for Lummox Lewis, got all in your feelings about me mentioning the fact that Lummox got one punch sparked out in the midst of his prime (the only 'great' fighter in history this has ever happened to) because the boxing gods cursed him with a glass jaw, and you then decided o drench yet another thread with your baba tears and baba tantrums. He ducked the rematch against Vitali like a female dog, Aristotle, and in doing so he threw his entire legacy and reputation in the trashcan where it rightfully belongs now. I will kindly ask you AGAIN to stop wasting my time with this.
You're the one who mentioned Lewis in an aj thread first no ? You're the one going off topic. You're the one wasting time. I don't care what you think, it is meaningless to discuss Lewis when the topic is anthony joshuas ranking after the Dubois massacre. He never separated himself from the rest of the pack like Lewis and his resume is crap. You even mentioned Ngannou as one of his top wins, I rest my case. Hypotheticals are irrelevant
You are really trying my patience Yes I mentioned Lummox along with a whole bunch of other HW greats and HWs in the post where I explained that knockout/stoppage losses to lesser opponents are common in the HW division and that they have happened to many of the greats. Why wouldn't I mention Lummox when it happened to him twice in the midst of his prime? To spare your feelings? AJ's career is still ongoing so it's ''meaningless'' to act like it isn't or that he hasn't avenged or attempted to avenge his loss to Dubois yet I never said Ngannou was one of his top wins and you know I didn't As much as it pains you to admit it, AJ has a excellent resume amateur and pro for someone who took up boxing at 18 and has only had 75 fights amateur and pro and his career, as said, is still ongoing and could be for many years to come Now please leave me alone
He's a hypejob and he's not beating Dubois Name his top 10 wins and list their age, shouldn't be difficult joshua fans were clamoring that he had the best resume, claiming that he was in the midst of his prime, joshua said he was hitting harder than ever before, came off of 2 good performances, aj fans claimed Wallin was a top 10 fighter. Guess what happened ? Dubois smashed him with little effort, and what did aj do ? Ducked the rematch. That resume is a myth The fact you even think the Lewis comparisons are valid is insane. Serge is a clown
