This is what Hopkins represents to me

    - racist
    - negative spoiler
    - a proper dirty fighter prepared to break every rule in the fightbook whilst his delusional fans excuse it as 'smart'
    - a fighter who fought in the worst middleweight era in history
    - a fighter who has never once beaten an elite opponent at a fair weight in his entire career
    - someone who doesn't give a **** about his fans and is prepared to get fights halted or abandoned with fake injury
    - ducker of prime jones and prime calzaghe by pricing himself outta fights
    - whenever i picture his face, i see the pretend crybaby face he's pulling above

Hes a spoiler, but people are misinterpreting what that means. Hopkins dose or did whatever is necessary to counter and completely spoil his opponents style, be it outbox them, smother them, brawl them or anything in between. Its a very difficult way to fight because you pretty much have to be solid at everything.

Hopkins in his prime could do it all, simple as that. As for Hopkins from around 2005 and onwards - how else do you think a guy in his 40's is going to fight? You guys are ******ed. It's hilarious how people lay into a middle-aged man because he has a low output, fights at a slow pace and useses spoiling tactics to take breathers, when the fact he is still competing at the top level is testament to his greatness.

So your saying that in his prime he was a boxer/puncher but from 2005 onwards he has been a counterpuncher???

"In his prime he could do it all" = Boxer/puncher

And I just assumed that the word "spoil" was basically just another terminology for countering
