What is Floyd Mayweather talking about?

Please dont confuse issues, nobody has a problem with being ambitious.

And if he did grow up the way he proposes he grew up, nobody would give him **** for saying things like this.

Problem is, he embelleshes the hell out of his upbringing, even according to his own family.

 

I agree with you for the most part.

Look at B-Hop, the guy has been trying to seperate himself from an ubringing and youth in which he had a lot of problems (not forget, but not let it define his life either).

Then look at Floyd, who doesnt come from a situation such as Bernard's, and you see a kid who goes on and on about it nonstop.

Floyd wasnt even associated with this lifestyle coming into the sport. Its been him who has continually tried to convey this image, surrounding himself with Fifty who wears a bullet proof vest to a boxing match (somewhere Tupac is rolling in his grave). :-(

If you guys want to go for the act, do so. I have said all I have to say.

Jazzy Jeff isn't on good terms with Floyd so that was expected. And Jeff may not be as clean as you all think him to be... it all began when Jeff got accused of stealing off Floyd's fight earnings.:bart

All I know is that Jeff makes more sense than all the other Mayweathers combined.

And I have never heard Roger or Floyd Senior talk about Floyd being from the ghetto either. Only Floyd.

The thing with Jeff making more sense is because he's more silent. Roger and Floyd Sr. are more vocal (and have more media exposure) but that doesn't necessarily mean they're worse than Jeff. Remember we are only judging on what we see.

There are drug dealers and goons where Floyd grew up.. if Roger and Floyd Sr. don't speak about it, that doesn't prove a thing about Floyd's supposed dishonesty.

Its just the rap hip hop flavor of the week to appear tough and from the ghetto. Being ghetto and having all the money is what sells these days.
