What is Khan Promotions?

    As far as I can telll, Saturdays fight between Khan & McCloskey had 4 promoters involved.

    Matchroom
    Khan Promotions
    Golden Boy
    Hatton Promotions

    I know that Golden Boy, Hatton & Matchroom promotions all have a stable of fighters. My question is, what do Khan promotions do exactly?

    Also, what were Hatton Promotions part in the event? McCloskey is promoted by matchroom.

    Its all a bit confusing if you ask me.

    Hatton provided the undercard. Matchroom were involved but were there as two of thier fighters were fighting (Purdy and McCloskey)

    Hatton Promotions were brought in to provide the undercard. Golden Boy and Khan Promotions were responsible for the main event, Matchroom weren't involved in the promotion at all.

    But as for what Khan Promotions do apart from ruin Khan's image I don't know.

    You've hit the nail on the head really... All the others provide some sort of service. Khan promotions are just there to **** everything up..

    Matchroom had nothing to do with the promotion. They represent McCloskey.

    It was a Khan Promotions event.

    Golden Boy Promotions promote Khan in the US and had little to do with the fight except to realise to of their fighters to fight on the card.

    Hatton Promotion have a promotional licence in the UK. Khan Promotions
    dont so they really only needed Hattons for the promotional licence. They also supplied fighters for the undercard.

    Khan Promotions controlled every aspect of the event.

    dunno kid...seems to me all boxers want to be a promoter after oscar started golden boy......they all just copy off eachother slightly.

    Khan is Co-Promoted by Khan Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions.

    Khan Promotions deal with his UK business, the US side handled by GBP

    They will still be doing what they did for this fight, minus the actual event.

    For instance, GBP handles everything US side in terms of the event and US broadcasting, Khan promotions is tasked with trying to get as much money as possible for the Bradley bout on UK TV.

    if they have any sense they will let a real promotions company handle it .i bet khans promotions is run from a desk,that sides at the side of the garage were khans da' parks his taxi
