Yes, he does come across as one of the few people in Floyd's immediate surroundings as being quite educated. Would not be surprised if he were further along than just a 4 year degree.
Agreed. Ellerbe has been with the Mayweather's since the mid 90s. Obviously he's picked up something over the last 15 years. Just being in the gym everyday, being around world class trainers and world class fighters, he's going to know something. He's even worked with a few fighters. Floyd is obviously the primary focus, but I would not be surprised if Ellerbe was a decent trainer if he focused on it full time. Im sure hes been than Lowe or Mr. Peterson
no ellerbenuthugger just no peterson and lowe might not be great pro trainers but do you know how many fighters they've produced? how many they took to golden gloves or other national titles? these guys are local heroes taking kids off the streets everyday ellerbe saw a fast way to make money and took it.
Yeah I cant remember if Floyd said he Ellerbe had his masters or not it might have been one of the 24/7's.
No, Ellerbe's credentials have never EVER been mentioned in any of the 24/7 shows as i have all of them and like to watch them every now and then. Jeff Mayweather first hired Ellerbe who was his friend to be a bodyguard for floyd after that their bond grew and became into what it is now. al haymon is the man who advises floyd on his promotional deals, finances etc etc.
