I have never said that Andrade would beat Bute! I actually said the exact opposite. I did say that Andrade would beat Berrio though.

Hmmm...I understand your point; it is legitimate. I understand it is a business...but they Interbox must understand Bute too. I don't think Bute would be happy fighting low to medium threat fighters for big bucks just to make some money. I might be wrong, but this is the feeling I get from him. I think he is better than that. I think he wants to prove that he is improving and fighting better and better fighters...and look at Kessler...if you keep fighting the best, evetually you will get the big fights for the big money too!

...Let me put it this way...if Bute makes X number of defenses in his career...I don't want people down the line to say: "Bute fought bums" or "whom has Bute fought?"...and I think neither does he...

...he might not be ready for the big time, and that is OK...he is only 27 and at the beginning of the year he was still fighting Tatevosyan...but as long as he keeps improving and fighting better and better opponents, not every single time, but every second fight or so...that is good for boxing and good for his morale. I keep stressing this because the thing that makes Bute special, above all, I feel, is his morale, self-respect and self-esteem...lose that and he has lost much that made him special. Just my two cents, as the Americans put it!:good

Anybody but Calzaghe or Kessler. Inkin, Andrade, Lacy, and Tsypko would all be fine choices. Give Lucian a year or two and I think he would be more prepared to face Calzaghe or Kessler. Especially an aging Calzaghe assuming they fought in 2009 (if of course Calzaghe hasn't retired by then).

Why wouldn't avenging his boss's robbery make Bute happy?

A Beyer fight would be very popular here in quebec... Sure Beyer wouldn't mean much on Bute's resume, but it will win him more fans though... And that's what boxing is really about no? winning fans...

Beyer wouldn't take this fight. I think he's doing well in terms of money and he doesn't need to take a fight that he knows he can't win.

don't forget beyer hasn't fought in over a year when he was brutally demolished by Kessler

Well.... Beyer won't fair any better against Calzaghe than he did against Kessler, leaving him one last option, and that would be Bute.

If he doesn't want to fight for a title anymore, than he should retire.

    hehehe

Anyways, I think the real question is where does Bute want to focus his exposure?

The american market? or the european market?
essentially that will dictate who he should fight next...

For the americain market, a Allen Green, Andrade, Miranda would be good names...

Whereas for the european market, a Stieglitz, Tsypko, Sanavia would be good.
