What is the strongest division in boxing right now?

    Lightweight.

    Welterweight if Mayweather comes back.

    Its a real toss up between Welter and Lightweight.

    If i had to coose though i would pick Welter, more stars or stars of the future imo.

    lhw isn't too shabby either; calzaghe, hopkins, tarver, jones, cloud, johnson, dawson, erdei, woods, glencoffe, diaconu!

    super bamtam is up there as well

    I would say Welter...

    It's definitely more exciting in my opinion

    I don't understand everyone on the lightweight division's jock so much. Stacked division and probably 2nd best, but welterweight still has much more star power and younger fighters at the top levels. Even the old guys like Oscar and Shane could still provide intriguing matchups with all the top 10 welters.

    I agree!

    Williams, Margo, Cotto, Clottey, Shane, Berto, and even Cintron clearly have the potential for more intriguing fights!

    It is weak. Calzaghe is gone.

    It has a bunch of second tier fighters in it, and only one or two P4P hopefuls, max.
