Mosley was still a contender when Pac fought him so I don’t think that’s one of the worst.

Coming off an almost shut out victory to mayweather and looked horrible in a draw against mora at a higher weight. Sounds pretty bad to me. Obviously not the worst of all time though

Look at Lucian Bute's record, he's got a few contenders

Mayorga was always fun and still had a punchers chance and putting in a fight that hasn’t and might not happen don’t count.:huh

Canelo somehow winning a belt at JMW vs a guy who wasn't even a top 20 WW was the most baffling **** I've ever seen, it was basically like "we're giving Canelo a belt no matter who they decide as his opponent"

going back there's a ton... proly the worst ever is Floyd Patterson defending his heavyweight title vs a guy who'd never had a pro fight yet just won the olympics in Pete Radamacher.

as for recent times, there's umpteen examples.......

Willie Casey for Rigondeauxs first defense

Manfredo for both Chavez and Calzaghe

shot to **** Casamayor for Bradley

shot to **** Mayorga for Cotto

    Gomez for Canelo

Sturm and Calzaghe have a ton of examples just boxrec their reigns and look at the list of no hopers and people you've never heard of before or after....shocking actually

    Brinkley for Bute

    Ornelas for Stieglitz

    Gary Lockett for Pavlik!!! pathetic!

both of Cleverly's title defenses and his 3rd coming up vs Karpency....sad

    Bobby Gunn for Adamek

Mormeck for Wlad is just inexcusable.

shot **** Rahman for Wlad was awful

shot to **** Briggs for Vitali

anyone who's defended a title vs Roy Jones since the Glen Johnson KO

wrong. these guys fought many unranked fighters with bad records but that was in between time fights. they fought upwards of 20 times a year some years and fought more good fighters as well as fighting more unranked fighters than guys nowadays. On top of all these in between fights to keep sharp vs unranked guys, Wilde/ Greb would fight a good 5 or more top ranked fighters a year!!! Calzaghe wouldn't even fight one per year, he went on a stretch for 5 years straight where he literally fought no one of worth, not one fighter that anyone heard of or cared about before or after the Calzaghe fight.

I was also going to post this. I can't think of any defenses close to this bad.

Audley Harrison, Skelton and not to mention Cleverly vs Bellew where both men weren't World class standard.

Mormeck is 10X better than Audley Harrison.

    Mayorga is better than Ortiz

And Mosley is better than Judah.

    Horrible picks man.:nut
