As far as all-time mythical match-ups go, what is your most outrageous prediction? it has to be a prediction that most everyone would disagree with. also give your reason behind your thinking. example: i think roy jones would have beat joe louis. if conn gave him fits for 12 rds, i think jones would as well. ok, your prediction and reasoning behind it. feel free to bash my prediction, then post yours and i'll return the favor. and please no snv posts :good
watching this ko doesn't make your prediciton look that crazy. damn! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_h2J8FywlSU[/ame]
Jeff Chandler W15 Eder Jofre. I wouldn't bet money on it, but I think it could happen. Chandler is underrated in my opinion and a tough out for anybody. He was very long, deceptively strong, could hold his own on the inside and with rough stuff, and was a good boxer/puncher.
This why you're a newbie...just kidding..no offense.. ok? But seriously, Louis would have been troubled for a few rounds but would have paralyzed Jones with a shot then finished him off far sooner than he did the more rugged Billy Conn. The ref would have been able to count to 7000. Maybe just one punch from Louis would have done the trick.
I'll tell you an outrageous prediction of mine that actually DID come true. I had an extremely strong feeling that Lloyd Honeyghan was going to beat Don Curry in 1986. I remember being out for a drink with friends on the night of the fight, and some of them advised me to go and lie down in a darkened room, after telling them of my prediction The rest,as they say,is history. Mind you I've made some unbelievably bad calls too, over the years !
