This is the official WBA ranking. Great list.
Personally I think that Gusmyl perdomo, Karo Murat, Lukas Wilaschek and perhaps a few others are a little to high!

There was a time, long ago, when I thought I knew enough to rank 25 fighters in the right order. The more I learn about boxing, the more I know I know ****...so now, I cannot even do a Top 10, nevermind a Top 25...:D :-(

Its like swimming on water. Hopkins lost to Taylor 2x, Taylor lost to Pavlik 2x, now after 3 years Hoplkins schooled Pavlik ... so who is the best ? It all depends on the timing, motivation and styles.

All rankings are personal until there is dominat champion who beats everybody else, but even then the haters say he isnt as good, the competition is weak. So as the man said ... its all ****.

Not just that, but with fighters who haven't fought at least one world class fighter, how are we supposed to know how good they are? Ideally, before ranking anyone, you'd want to have seen them against at least two world class fighters...one puncher, and one pressure fighter/swarmer/brawler, if he's a boxer, or a boxer, if he's a pressure fighter/swarmer/brawler.

They should fight each other to get proper justification. Now we see that Bute is better than Andrade in general but was lucky. Even if the judge count Bute out I would rate Bute ahead of Andrade. But Who is better Bute or Kessler? ... its just my personal assumption that Kessler is better untill they really meet in the ring.

If Bute had not beaten the count, I don't see how he could have been considered better, as Andrade would at least have been better h2h...

Kessler looks miles better than everyone else...but how good is Froch, for example? Hard to say...

The WBC ranking, actually quite decent compared to the WBA, of course some are missing or low of political reason, but the listed are at least contender or conter-like types. Perhaps I am being ignorant here, but who is this Karo Murat? has anyone actually seen him box? no boxrec-answers please.

    1 .- Carl Froch (GB) BBBoC/COMM
    2 .- Jermain Taylor (US)
    3 .- Jean Pascal (Haiti/Canada) LATINO/NABF
    4 .- Jeff Lacy (US)
    5 .- Andre Ward (US)
6 .- Karo Murat (Germany) EBU
    7 .- Anthony Mundine (Australia)
    8 .- Alejandro Berrio (Colombia)
    9 .- Andre Dirrell (US)
    10 .- Markus Beyer (Germany)

The WBO list looks decent as well.

Even the IBF rankings looks decent compared to wba. Hell what is wrong with WBA? Okay, Tsypko at 2 stinks:tired but come on Gusmyl Perdomo at two:nut :nut

Karo Murat has some decent skills but nothing that makes him a contender for a world title.
