when i was fighting amateur boxing i was fighting at 69kg and would walk around at about 70kg-72kg becaue the weigh in was on the same day as the fight i would try and keep my weight close to figth weight. But now i fight muay thai and the weigh ins are the day before so i can walk around a little heavier and do weights and cut weight and fight at a lower weight then when i was boxing.

I'm a fat 100kg or so right now, having come down from 105kg. I used to box at 91-kg, and walked around 91-92kg so I need to drop 8 more kgs. Working hard for it though.

I walk around at 155 give or take 4 pounds. A really good day at the gym will take off 3 so I'm hoping to stay around 152. I feel healthy and strong but got myself to walk around at 147 just to see if I could. Is 5'7" short for amateur welterweight?
