What kind of math does Usyk do?

    I've heard in a few articles that Usyk does "math problems" during his training camp.

    Does anyone know what kind of problems he likes to do or whether this is part of his training (for focus, maybe)? Or perhaps to detect early signs of cognitive decline and know when to retire. I know Loma does a lot of tracking of his reaction time and such, perhaps Usyk does something similar with his math ability.

    My guess is that they are math olympiad/Soviet gymnasium style problems like in this book: https://www.isinj.com/mt-usamo/USSR... Chentzov, and Yaglom (1993, Dover) (1-1).pdf

    Not a lot of theory involved, any high school graduate knows enough math to do them but they are very challenging to anyone including graduate students or working mathematicians.

    On the other hand if he's still studying in his 30s maybe he has a lot theory down and is working on some high level ****. Does anyone know? Has anyone seen a shot of his notebooks or papers in a video?

    I think they just mean timed Schulte tables. They use it to improve reactions, thinking styles, and peripheral vision

    That’s a pretty good analogy for his style. All he does is tries to ‘find Waldo’ aka that big right hand and nothing else.

    For the rematch, Usyk's math regime will consist of counting how many times he will KD AJ, seeing how once AJ goes down, he continues to go down like a cheap but desperate street prostitute.

    I don't know but I am sure that he is absolutely excellent at it. Probably better than most mathematicians, and even computers.

    He does really complex problems, such as

    1. If Eddie Hearn keeps receding at the rate of 30 hairs per day, how long will it take before he gets a hair transplant?

    2. Can you list the precise anatomical issues that lead to AJ being granted a Therapeutic Use Exemption for performance enhancing drugs?

    3. If Luis Ortiz was born in 1967, how is he 41?

    4. If x = Lemar Scott what does y equal?

    Yes, Toney wasted a lot of his potential.

    He reached his potential and didn't even have to know trigonometry.

    He should have learned this formula for potential at a distance, no trig!

    V = k Q / r
