Tyson Fury this fat peice of junk firstly needs to hit the gym and lose that flab. He needs to find a new trainer who can teach him the art of defence. Someone needs to give him a reality check and tell him he IS NOT world class. whoever told him he is needs to shut the **** up (hennessy). Fury needs to stop being an arrogant wanker, wat the hell was that ring walk about bloody *****. He then needs to admit that he lost the fight. Listening to that fat gimp at the post fight interview really pissed me off. oh yh i clearly won the fight errrr yh im a fat ****. Lets have a rematch and then fight Audley Harrison to find out who is the worst heavyweight hype in the UK.
tyson fury u r crap ahhhhhhhhhhhhh rant over

Yeah im glad he won and what??? Disgrace to boxing...it was rank bad scoring but to go on as if people ain't allowed to be happy there fighter won a tough fight. As mentioned by a few member on this forum it weren't no landslide and as losfer said watch it with sound down...O'Connor needs to get p45 after that score but it aint Tyson fault he won..he went in there and showed grit and heart and showed some skills at times considering in hindsight he was highly over matched. I'm glad he won but i feel for John...real nice guy. Funny thing is if John won then loses in yet another British Title fight i can see many on here....name calling Poor John. Boxing is full of wrongs and it aint right and fair but you get used to it......something needs to be done we all know that....but it aint the boxers fault.

One thing i will say is if most are so disgusted lets use this a positive and use your energy...do the sport a favor and go into Refereeing.....because we have to many old fat ref's at the moment.

Jim Watt said it like was , Jim actually had it closer than me I had McDermott winning it by 4 Rds. and I don't need to try to remain impartial I'm not a fan of neither.

Fury was blowing out his ass for the last 4 rounds and was getting hit at will from the 2nd Rd onwards he did'nt do anything to win that fight, thats a fact, it was a total robbery. and it was'nt even close.

    you tell me what Fury done in that fight to make it close :hey {this should be good}

At one point they asked Fury to fight back and he asked 'With what shots?'

The corner seemed clueless to me. At least Fury showed he isn't glass jawed, which is a good sign. Needs three months off to sort himself out, with a proper trainer, another patsy in between (December?) another two month layoff to truly get in perfect shape.

Come the beginning of early March, a rematch with McDermott and the lad, not yet 22 can show us where he's got to. Fighting constantly is good for keeping active, but I think one long and arduos training camp will bring him further than fighting two more Belshaws or getting straight in with McDermott again.

I'm still a fan. I think, with the right help, he will come good. He's managed to stay in the ring for ten rounds with one of our top domestic guys having not even had a year pro experience.

Fair play, the kids got balls, and fair play to McDermott, who wasn't intimidated and was unfairly snatched of a good scalp for the resume (officially at least)

what would fury need to do to beat mcdermott in the rematch? i doubt he'll manage to keep the fight at range. i did think some of his bodyshots were having an impact in the latter half of the fight - maybe they would have made a difference if he'd been landing them throughout

I dont think Fury or his promoter will be in a rush to fight John Mc again soon...

If Ritchie Davies reffed that last night John Mc would still have his belt...:good

When are you Pomms going to use a three judge system for all fights.
Referee only judging should have died out with the dinosaurs.

Boxing not just in judging sticks to old fashioned nonsense too much sadly.

Totally agree about the disgraceful commentary which has resulted in so many people crying 'robbery' when it was actually a very close fight.

This fight will have done Fury the world of good and was exactly what he needed. Hopefully he'll realise you need to work VERY hard to suceed in boxing and that he needs to learn new skills to go with his natural abilities.

NB I was very pleased to see that his chin stood up to some pretty heavy shots from an 18st man:happy
