What next for JMM?

Marquez has problem against boxer and light punching fighter....He was schooled by both Chris John and Floyd....how much against boxer puncher Pacman.....

 

All the logic points towards Soto , but thats logical and Bob Arum does not put loss of profit before making the " right fights for the fans " , GB would make this fight , no doubt about it .........

Guerrero apparently is set to fight Katsidis in March so that could be him out , if thats not true then he would be my favourite

Then comes the 140 lb division , GB will likely only get 1 crack at Marquez @140 when pitted against the monsters in that division , so they should match him wisely , probably against Khan if Marquez would take the fight , Ortiz for me would be bad match making , Ortiz is not very popular and would likely beat Marquez thus denting one of GB's top attractions by what would be seen as an elite fighter losing to a much lesser man

I think if Guerrero does fight Katsidis and win , GB will make that fight and wil give Marquez the whole time off in between , its simple there is not much there for Marquez right now , there isnt even anybody a SFW who could come up and warrant a fight with Marquez so its a period of stand still for Marquez for me

 

I think he should go to 140. I don't think there are any real chalanges for him at 135 right now.

Styles make fights , Marquez was at his best as a Feather Weight , that doesnt bode well for him fighting enormous men like Berto and Khan , and if he were to fight Pacquiao @47 he'd be demolished !!! :deal

Marquez should sit and wait for a suitable fight , hell he's earned the right to do that
