so after having his best performance for years and getting narrowly defeated by Maidana were do you think Morrales goes from here. Zab Judah - current IBF champ, would give Morrales the chance to be the 1st 4 weight Mexican champ. Would be marketable and would sell relatively well. Humberto Soto - not sure if he would move back down but this would be a good fight between to Mexicans. JMM - as bad as it sounded a few months ago, his performance last night makes it more acceptable now. Would rather see JMM in with Guerrero or Vasquez and obviously Pac if it can be made. David Diaz - a chance to avenge the controvertial loss of a few years back. ???????
i think he and juan diaz make a great fight if juan hasn't retired yet to go law school. a lot of action and i don't think he would get hurt because diaz doesn't punch that hard and he's almost as shot as erik but still got a name. great crossroads fight for both.
a barrera match is pointless cause we havent seen barrera look that great unfortunately but a jmm match is something i would love to see..if Morales retired who am i to apose such a thing?
Diaz just recently announced he will return. (Via his twitter account) Going back down to lightweight.
i say he should go after judah, he lost last night because of lack of energy and zab always has low punch outputs.
Judah, Bradley, Alexander, Marquez. I think he should go for the 4th world title while he still has enough left.
Direct Rematch with Maidana.. The $$ is there because GBP knows they did well with the fans. a 2 eyed Morales has a better chance against maidana. while JMM could fight Judah... If JMM comes out on top, and morales does as well.. JMM morales for an epic match.
He should rematch Maidana immediately. The rematch he will win handily. I bet JMM will now target Maidana though. He is too slow at this point to fight Zab or Pac or Kahn. Maybe a fight with Alexander, but I think he loses that too. Stylistically, he has an edge over Maidana alone so I think he should do all that's in his power to get that rematch made.
