What one ability distinguished Marciano...

    No latter day revisionists can take away Marciano's great claim to fame...that being his indefatigueable, almost inhuman desire to win, and ignore pain and adversity along the way.

    I'd say that has a hell of a lot to do with exactly who is dishing out the pain.

    I am not a George Foreman fan per se, but I don't see Marciano keep walking forwards to meet the Texan's shots head on.

    I am going to say this very carefully and specifically .. Marciano was a sum total great fighter for a cruiserweight .. he was a top ten P4P heavyweight champion .. however the greatest thing that distinguished him was his timing ... he came along at the perfect time and got out at the perfect time.
