Wow! Andre Ward is one hell of a fighter.
Some of you were comparing him to Mayweather, and now I see why. He is slick and almost impossible to hit. In person he was extremely impressive. Watch out Bute, Froch and Kessler. SOB is coming to take your belts away!

Congtratulations to him on a fantastic fight and I strongly believe he will have a very very successful career.

I find that he fights a bit like Cotto, but with the holding and without power like Cotto.

If anyone saw the Ravelo fight he also has great pop ..In that fight he I think it was the 1st time he really resembled Floyd ..Ward has a good boxing IQ same as Floyd ..As long as he continues to box like this with of course BOTH hands up skies the limit for him !!

I was thinking the same thing. He was figthing on the counter and stepping backwards and ducking low in the same way Cotto did against Margo

It's actually SOG not SOB man.
Anywya yeah Ward was really impressive and the fight itself wasn't bad.
Let's hope he is the mando to Froch now and they fight.
    What's Miranda gonna do now?

I gotta say Miranda is a warrior and i have a lot of respect for him and will always love to watch him fight. He needs to start throwing combinations thought.

What ward showed last night was that he can fight you any kind of way. Southpaw, righty, on the inside on the outside. He was a cutie and a bawler. He did it all in a fight were he was suppost to be tested, it was suppose to be the best guy he has faced. In the end it looked like all his other fights. I truely believe that those that cant or refuse to see the talent of this kid is hating on him, I just dont see any other way of looking at it.

Did he hold??Yeah but what those that are bitching about it arent telling you is that he was headbutted on the inside repeattedly, and his holding was really to stop Miranda from headbutting him on the inside.

Why would holding prevent a headbutt. One does not need his arms to use his head:huh

Did you not see the fight??? Ward would put his forearm on Miranda's neck while holding one of his arms. I pretty sure that it was something that he worked in camp, knowing that Miranda has a habit of butting.
