At this point, you have to be really trying to get caught. Just mask it like Mayweather did, or do what Conte was saying and take fights AFTER you finish off your cycle.

3 year ban for 1st offense lifetime for 2nd sounds fair need something to actually make them fear doing it 3-9month ban and a $10,000-100,000 fine is not that strong of a deterrent to be superman on fight night.

The way I understand it the guys who never get caught are smarter, not cleaner than the ones who don't. It's not 100% across the board, but I do believe once fighters reach a certain level it's very close.
I'd like to believe in clean top level fighters, but it's probably not realistic.
So why should the dumb guys who don't know how to cheat be penalized over the ones who do?
It's an imperfect system, and in such an event we really could 100% fool proof testing then yeah I'd be all for it, but we are far away from such a world.

2 years ban on first offence, like it is in other sports. 4 year ban on second offence, and lifetime at 3 strikes.

PED testing is a very profitable business, so they continue a smear campaign against their own clients (boxers), in order to force them to spend much more $ on Masking solutions, which are designed by the same labs.

Once fighters, promoters & managers refuse the Blackmail by these PED testing unethical companies, then they can be forced to reform & accept that the only $ they will get is the fees imposed upon boxing. In return they produce informative reports that serve the same purpose as punch stats reports.
