I wholeheartedly agree with you here - in fact, I think it's HIGHLY LIKELY he tastes canvas before the fight is stopped. Cotto's chin is not great, but he's a tough, tough guy who will take a beating, and probably hit the deck multiiple times, before he is ultimately knocked out late.
This is going to be a brutal beatdown. Cotto will not go easily. Margarito may do to him something akin to what he himself did to Pauly.
margarito is too plodding and too slow too open. If you fight Cotto with leaky defense...he is going to **** you up. Cotto is faster quicker to the punch and his jab will bust Margarito up and he will be forced to respect it. If cotto gets his precision left hook to the body off Margarito will be more slowed down.
Round 15...then Margo will wake up and realize he's been ko'd and laying in a puddle of his own urine for the last 40 seconds. Mexicans from all over will then blame the urine for Margo's unstable footing and very hittable face.
Its going to be mid rounds ... I think that once the second half of the fight starts and Margarito starts to turn it up ... thats when Cotto tastes alot of leather. I can't be too specific but i'm guess somewhere inbetween the 7-10 round.
If Margo comes out blazing looking for blood I think he could stop Cotto within 6 rounds or if it's a slower paced back and forth type war of attrition it could take 10 or 11 rounds to wear Cotto down to the point of exhaustion for an accumulation type TKO.
