He is not great anymore and he hasn't been great for a while now. It's not even as if he comes in giving his all, believing in himself. It pains me to see him, it really does.

he is not a great boxer anymore true, but he is still a great man and a legend of the sport, the idea of never seeing him fight again for me...i dont know...just one more time would be good.

Yeah definitely, he got to go out on a high!
Surviving against Calzaghe in the first place was a victory. Being relatively competitive for part of the fight was and even briefly putting a top p4p champion on the canvas at his stage in his career was a victory.
He should fight somebody he can beat and fight in his hometown and end it in Pensicola which he said would do for his last fight.
However, i feel he wants to end it his way and end it on top/ close to the top. Either by having a rematch with B. Hop or Tarver. I just don't want to see him get hurt badly- like his friend. Don't get me wrong that cut was bad but i expected Calzaghe to finish him. Fighting Hopkins would be dangerous.

Tarver is definetly the most winable fight for Roy at this stage. I have the feeling it will be BHop though, unless Bernard fights Kessler...

Fight a bum and go out with a win, before retirement.

Roy should end it on a win.

i believe he should get 1 last payday vs, hopkins although i believe he will lose but not as bad as he lost to calzaghe but i still think hopkins would beat calzaghe because of styles

The only way he can salvage his status in Boxing would be to go back up to Heavyweight and fight Vitali Klitschko.

He deserves a little swansong for his last fight. A legend. I truely believe the effort it took him to fight Ruiz at Heavyweight finished him. He was weight drained when he fough Tarver, should should have quit after there first fight.

If he feels like he can handle it, I'd like to see him beat two Top 10 175 contenders, maybe one of those fights being Glen Johnson to put that to rest.

Then go out with a title fight against someone like Diaconu or Erdei, leave the game with a title belt.

That's the romantic in me though.
