Once Price can answer a question about his chin I'll be sold. he was out on his feet in the olympics after being caught flush, I don't think he's shipped a punch since then.

He's too dominant at domestic level for his own good, i fear he'll be unprepared when he does step up against a power puncher like helenius, wach etc.

I mustnt have went far enough back in the thread are you saying Dempsey was not a good infighter, with a straight face?

If so, that is even worse. :patsch

If not, then i am lost. So many posts on this site are confusing me.

What's even worse is you commenting on a conversation where you don't even know what's going on!

It's probably best you just leave it there for fear of making yourself look stupid.

I don't agree that Firpo was ever elevated to top contender. If what Legend X says is true, then Dempsey didn't take Firpo seriously as a threat, that isn't a mark of a highly regarded contender

He's a case of a hype job been guided to a title, like Michael Grant or Cooney. Achievement wise his competition is arguably a mirror of say Savarese who beat a past it Buster Douglas and a few fringe contenders

Spalla and Weinert are not nearly as good Chambers and Adamek, especially Chambers who could have been a champion if it weren't for the Klits
