TS has got good point marquez only fights bums and pacquiao now a days. He should forget pac and fight guys like rios, alvardo, judah, maidana etc. Otherwise just retire
if you thought that someone robbed you on three different occasions you would be pretty fixated on that person as well.
There's absolutely **** all wrong with him. Think people forget it wasn't that long ago he was travelling to Asia to fight Chris John for 35k. Apart from the money,I don't blame him one bit for chasing a guy he's been genuinely robbed at least once(possibly twice) against. He was fighting in the B division for a lot longer than he deserved to.Good luck to him because boxing will be a poorer sport when he's not around.
as long as Pacquiao agrees to it, Marquez will keep tapping him like his personal cash cow... at this point, its all about the money, not the win. Mebbe if you fight someone enough time you might catch him, but i dont think that's Marquez's intent. He knows at this point that Pac will win any close decision against him... while settle for less, when Pac's willing to fight you again? On the flip side, i think Pacquiao has ran out of credible options too. I dont think the Bradley fight will sell as much. No casual boxing fan even knows who Bradley is...
he thought about it, then bitched out. he knows Judah has his number. like every slick fighter hes faced :deal
marquez falsly believes he's a superstar, thinking he can do a cowboys stadium ppv with gesta shows his ignorance. i remember just after the 3rd pac fight nacho came out and said 20 million for a fourth bout just goes to show how stupid these guys are
Maybe Marquez wants the official victory he's been robbed of 3 out of 3 times? When you own another man by beating the **** out of him 26 out of 36 rounds and STILL don't "win", it kinda leaves a bad taste. That's all I can come up with.
Agreed And lets not forget hes damn near 40. He may only have a couple fights left, hes holding out for the one that matters. Its vindication for an old warrior fellas. O ya, and money. Lots of it:deal
it is a bitterness that he couldn't live by. imagine he got knocked down by a single man and got out boxed and out punched in the third fight even though he landed the clear shots will surely make him sleepless at night. No matter how we interpret the fight, JMM is bitter and couldn't move on. that is a sign that he was the loser in those close fights.
