My guess is that this is the case - took the first big cheque, bought a new house for himself, new one for the folks (both now worth 50% of what he paid for them), a car or two. A good dose of money, with an expectation of more to come, can get you into a much bigger hole than just managing to get by.
I live in near Lacy's hometown, St. Petersburg, FL. Pensecola is WAY the **** away. Nobody around here knows the place exists and I can promise the number of Lacy fans that drive from here to ****ing Pennsecola can be counted on one hand. Maybe Roy could bring enough *here* to count on two hands. But I don't see a fight with those two being worth anything extra just b/c they're both from FL.
to be a one armed fighter , you need to be skilled to get away with it. lacy being a power puncher and predominatley firing big swings from his left, cannot fight one armed using his right arm only, just does not posses the talent to do so, and he will never be anything as a fighter again.
