What type of fighter do you prefer?

Oscar has either been the most, or one of the most marketable fighters for the past decade and a half and has very rarely engaged in trash talk. I use to like it, but fighters today take it to a whole other degree. They're not funny, and many times are totaly without class. I'll take the guy who lets his fist do the talkingn over the big mouth any day. There is an old saying...."its better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than it is to open it and remove all doubt". Some of these **** talkers today should live by that creedo.

 

i like the good fighters, regardless of their attitude.

Guys like Hamed was very clever with his trash talk, Mayorga is hillarious and at the same time I cant help but like genuinely respectful fighters. Floyd just seems so fake and if not fake very immature, delusional with a schoolboy attitude so not funny or clever. Makes me cringe sometimes actually, its like when someone makes a joke and they think its so funny yet everyone else is just looking round thinking....right.....

 

I always prefer the respectful type who makes his talking by his actions inside the ring.

i prefer respectfull... but in the end in comes down to what they do in the ring and not outside.... as much as i dislike floyd's outside the ring behaviour, he i still one of my fav. fighters.... just like toney was.... the klitscko's are nice and respectfull... but i want them to get their ass kicked cause the way they fight

 

I too like the respectful fighter who doesn't need to talk **** and does it all in the ring..

Some **** talkers are alright, as long as they use it asa mental strategy to get inside their opponents head, not ranting on about how they are the best, ie. Mayweather.. Now what if you talk all this ****, and then you get your mouth stuffed? Example, Hopkins, however Hopkins was always the **** talker who could back it up, but not against Calzaghe..

 

All of them have their place. A trash talker who is entertaining or witty is excellent, it's all fun and games. But a trash talker who is moronic with it, or just genuinely a *****, I don't tend to like much.

 

I prefer guys who talk with there fists.In case of a loss they dont need to made excuses.

Only a rare few can pull off being mouthy and entertaining at the same time.The rest just seem to try WAY to hard.You have to have the right combo of being sharp,witty,well spoken and skills to back everything up.
