Well since I started this thread, Holyfield has been interviewed on B-talk and it's looking like he's more than keen on this fight. I still think Tyson needs to embark on a Foremanesque comeback against bums and journeymen, shake the rust off and get back into real fighting shape to prepare for a real tough war against even a 45 year old Holyfield. As a previous poster stated, he doesn't want to lose 3 fights in row to him. Also, if he regains his desire to make one more run at the title (even if it's a possibly futile one), he needs to regain his confidence and be as sharp as possible at his age. I think working with Foreman would be beneficial. I know Foreman is a big Tyson fan and would be more than happy to assist him in this comeback. He could learn a lot from Big George. Foreman could be Archie Moore to Tyson's Foreman. Yes, they are built differently, but they are both massive punchers who had similar upbringings. Your thoughts on this idea?
You've just stated you didn't watch any tyson fights after the late 90's (which would be which fights precisely as he only fought 1 or 2 in the late 90s b/c of legal difficulties) so you don't really know what type of form he had showed, so its pointless for you to even be in here discussing it. plus it appears you've never heard of clifford ettiene so how much a 'true' fan are you. finally, if anyone is "blinded" it is you. i'm not calling for a tyson comeback (although i would be interested) and don't believe he'll become a contender, i've just been saying that based upon his performances in the past 5 years, tyson could still beat a couple top 50 guys. You're the one writing crazy posts and admitting you've never seen any tyson fight after the late 90's or whatever you wrote (other than lewis) and stating that any fighter with some type of "heart" or "fire" is gonna ko tyson. Just leave this alone.
Stay retired. His work in the 80's make him an ATG. He has been a shellof his former self sence the 90's.
if u dont want a tyson comeback then what r you talking about! n really pay attention to what i say cos u always seem to missreading posts ok! i have herd of clifford ettiene i just couldnt be able to spell his second name! n a true fan of boxing would not wnt this fight cos it would be classed as a joke fight by the media n ruin tysons credability n a 45 yearold Holyfield has a nothing to prove either! Why do u want this fight so much? no i watched all them up 2 n including the lewis fight but after that, i never watched the clifford fight, Mcbride fight or the williams fight (xcept for the highlights) n wht r u even arguing bout? I was discussing why tyson shouldnt make a comeback? n i disagree i wud like you to name least 6 of the 50 fighters you clame he can beat!
