While the fight in hindsight wasn't toe to toe action, the fact that Wilder could land a KO shot at any point in the fight made it extremely tense viewing when seen live. That sort of tension is obviously removed once you know the outcome.
This content is protected Yeah, and it was a great year for cinema too. See, I can never tell if this is all mass incompetence or I'm just being trolled. I've got some down time and I'm trying to find something to watch here people. You're no help! Oh, yeah. Merry Christmas.
Lara - Hurd Lomachenko - Linares Golovkin - Canelo II There are others for sure, but these three stood out for me.
That's a great movie to quote from, not sure if I saw anything with that combination of writing and talent this year or many others. I can tell you to avoid the latest Pacino monstrosity on netflix though, poor Karl Urban is also involved. It's truly dire... As for this year in boxing? I'm no purist. I enjoy a competitive fight at a lower level, or two flawed boxers whose styles combine to make a fight better than the sum of its parts. So some of my favourite fights have been undercard affairs that barely rate a mention here. I thought you were a little harsh for instance in this post, but maybe I'm simply enjoying boxing myself more than I have done rather than it being a truly classic year. I did enjoy Jacobs vs Dere and Stephenson vs Jack but I don't think they're all time classics. In short, merry christmas
