What was the last great,competitive grudge match?

    An exciting fight where both fighters really hated each other and you just knew they would both sell their souls to the devil for the win over the other.

    Latest one I can think of at the moment is Vargas/DLH.

    ANy ideas of more recent ones?




    oh and inb4 calzaghe/hopkins that wasnt an exciting fight and there wasnt much bad blood there.

    Great one buddy and you're probably right on target. "Bad Blood" was probably the last great competitive grudge match.

    Barrera-Morales 3 was two years after DLH-Vargas.

    Barrera-Morales 3

    is more recent, but I cant help to think that Morales took Barrera abit lightly in that one.

    I don't know if they hated each other but Tyson/Lewis had an eventful fight buildup.

    Maybe Hamed/Barrera and Hamed/Kelly.

    Oh and Miranda vs Abraham 2.
