Roy vs. Hall. That was a terrible beating.
But i will go with Gatti/PBF based on the list.

Gatti landed one solid jab and a left hook to the body and that's it.

    It was carnage.

I think we should add a few Chavez fights, at least Haugen and Camacho. Also, Toney-Barkley was pretty brutal, Arguello-Boza-Edwards too. I believe Boza-Edwards **** his pants from a bodyshot in that fight. Pac-Diaz was worse than Calz-Lacy because of the stoppage. Lacy isn't any tougher or better defensively than Diaz, so him being KTFO is worse than Lacy lasting 3 more rounds. A guy doesn't fall face forward from a punch no worse than one he had consitantly taken a few rounds earlier. Pac's about 40lbs. lighter than Calz, but i'd have rather been Lacy that night than Diaz last saturday. That fight could turn a new fan of boxing away for life if they saw it. Another thing, recently on ESPN I saw Nate Campbell fight a guy named Ricky Quillin (i think). Just in case you missed it, Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore were yelling into the ring at the ref to stop it at about round 9, it went all 12. Again, just one more, Darchynian-Burgos. I thought Burgos was going to die after the fight, he went into a coma.

They were all pretty bad, but Floyd vs Gatti was the scariest one
Arturo was just helpless in there...

I agree with the poster who said Pacquiao-Barrera 1 should be considered. A 4-1 underdog running over a truly great fighter like that is a rare occurance.

I still recall the certitude, the confidence of all the "experts" in predicting that Lacy would "destroy" and "roll over" Calzaghe. All the so called "experts", except, of course, most of the British "experts", who ALWAYS pick one of their own, so you can't buy into them that much. The actual fight was as one sided and prolonged a torture session that I've seen since Ali-Terrell back in '67. Most one sided beatings that are being mentioned were mercifully ended by way of ko or tko, but Lacy was tortured and humiliated, like a sock puppet, all night. It was as if Calzaghe was able to do just what he wanted to do, when he wanted to do it. It was the most onesided fight I can remeber seeing in recent times.

    It is a good point.......

American pundits/experts tend to hype up a fighter to ridiculous levels ala Lacy, whilst British ones tend to nuthug and just predict wins for the fighters without even studying the opponent.

I vaguely recall a pundit saying that Ricky Hatton would beat Collazo in four rounds, ignoring the fact that Collazo is probably the worst style of opponent for Hatton (slick, counterpunching southpaw) and the fact that Hatton was moving up in weight!

    Crazy.

Something to think about, for sure, that as dominant and great Pacman is, MAB was able to lose as he chose to lose, with that great defensive style of his.

Calzaghe vs Lacy is the obvious choice.

I also think Klitshcko's whopping of Danny Williams was pretty one sided. This was not at all unexpected though as Williams was a huge underdog.
