What was your first thought about Canelo after his fight with Trout?

    In 2013-2014 I never believed that Canelo would become champion in four categories and an ATG.
    He improved tremendously from 2015 to 2017.

    Well, i thought Trout was real good because he just convincingly beat Miguel Cotto. I was interested in seeing how this Canelo would do with Trout. There was open scoring for that bout. I thought Trout won the fight, i was watching a robbery happen while on open scoring. At that point i knew something was wrong, even the comentators were in on it, it was bizarre. I thought as usual that Canelo was strong and talented, but i thought Trout did enough to win, but the judges had it lopsided for Canelo.

    He got a gift. After the knockdown i had canelo up by a point maybe. He then gassed and lost the remainder of the rounds clear. That was the second gift i had seen him recieve up to that point.

    shoulda known after his second clear robbery they were gonna feed us canelo by whatever force necessary.

    I kinda knew the deal after i watched larry mosley beat him inside and out and not win a round on the scorecard that the powers at be were gonna force canelo down our throats by whatever means necessary. After trout, lara, and the 1st ggg fights just confirmed my thoughts.

    I've often posted against Canelo but he won the fight easily. I counted one connected punch by Trout in the first 3 rounds. Canelo showed his greatness in that fight.

    It was a close fight but it showed me that he was much better than I thought he was.

    No not impressed but I did have canelo winning. Gotta respect trout he fought everyone and never showed up just for a paycheck

    I thought he easily won that fight. I don't score pitter patter highly, which is all Trout was doing.

    I thought this ginger brother is pretty slick. That was the first fight where I really noticed his slickness and head movement.

    I watched it live, thought Trout won it 115-112, and I was raging pissed that Canelo got a gift.
