If I had taken boxing seriously and turned pro as an 18 year old, I would have fought at 135. I would have also been smack in the middle of the Duran and Argeullo eras:admin Good think I joined the navy:yep
Honestly, I learned the sport last year the first semester of class, and the second one I was running. I'm starting to get back in weightlifting shape now, so don't expect high numbers. So now that you've already read my "excuses" I'm doing repetitions of 180lbs in traditional squats to develope the strenght to do what my coach wants me to. In front squats I could do the same, but am actually reapeting with 130lbs. And benching, do you mean for the chest? I'm not sure what you mean with benching since my first language is spanish. But I don't bench press for chest since it;'s not good for olympic weightlifting. It's good for power lifting but that's not what I do. EDIT: I'm out, later guys.
the same as You , but when i have like 20 years old i was 130 pound, now im 30 years old so i guess somewhere between 140-147 is allright for me
I fight at amateur middleweight, which is 165lbs. I'm 5'11 probably closer to 6,and I walk around at about 170 which is my lowest weight in many years, so if I keep losing I could probably make 160, but I'm currently triyng to put some on so more likely Super-middleweight.
I'm 6'4" and change and I weigh about 235lbs I'd say if anything I could put on 5-10 more lbs of the right kind weight I doubt I could get down to cruiser so def HW for me
Im 5'9 and my walk around weight is 14,7 / 203lbs but im in good shape with very little bodyfat. I would get down to 168 and fight at Super middleweight.
I'm 5'7" and 154lbs, so obviously I'd fight at light MW. A short light MW. I'm in shape, not much bodyfat, I could make WW but I'd probably be deshydrated..
140 bang on, i am 5.6. currently stupidly out of shape due to a summer of beer and beer and beer. i think last time i jumped on the scales i was 162, i need to loose most of that, id be happy walking around at 150. /theo.
I'm 6'0 & box at amateur level, LW. Yes, I know, I'm tall for the weight, but I'm only 24. However, sooner rather than later, I know I'm gonna have to move up!
I'm 6,3 ft 215 lbs, just lost 20 lbs planning to get rid of 35 lbs more. I'm 50 years old, 30 years ago I was fighting in MW and LHW as an amateur.
I am 6'4 and a Tyler Durden 210. I couldn't cut anymore. I would go the Haye route and get to 225 and fight there.
