I'm very curious about these other things. He looked dispirited the whole way through. Is he still with Team Sergio? Why isn't he relocating to Oxnard, at least for training camps?
He did come out kinda flat. Campillo's chin isn't all that a Kovalov is a good fighter that can punch and Campillo was done before he even got started. He'd still beat most of the top ten just not Kovalov. Hope Kovalov fights gets a title shot next. The division is very thin and he's one of the few bright spots.
And anyone that is saying Campillo was shot or unprepared lets remember Campillo was KO'd in 6 by Vyacheslav Uzelkov and dropped hard by Cloud in the first then got dropped again right after. Campillo is good but he can be hurt and dropped especially early and Kolvalov took advantage and very let him into the fight.
They on the NBC Sports broadcast said he wanted to train in Spain to be closer to his kids. I don't think Pablo Sarmiento was in his corner either for the fight.
