What were Team Khan thinking?

look. Khan was smashed by a guy who looks like he has some serious power at lightweight. Remember, Manny Pacquiao was KO'd twice in his early career, once by a guy who wasnt a big puncher and whom himself had 4 defeats at the time. I wouldnt write Khan off just yet. I cant believe how many so called UK fight fans are glad he got beaten. When it comes to our fighters, there are few we get behind and support, Bar Nigel Benn and Bruno.

Its not khans fault he made mega money off the back of the olympics, which one of us can honestly say if we had won silver, and had been offered the kind of money he was to turn pro, we wouldnt have taken it.? Fighters like audley harrison deserved to get slated, but i think some of the stuff being spouted about amir khan is totally unjustified. We should be getting behind our fighters, not laughing or enjoying that fact that he got knocked out.

 

what do you mean what were they thinking there's no doubt the guy's a good puncher but if you have ambitions of becoming world champ you have to be able to beat the prescott's of the world. Team khan assumed this guy had a padded record and thought they could pull the wool over peoples eyes with another victory against what they thought was a no-hoper with a decent punch and paper record. It backfired and to be honest as a brit i was in no way sad to see it happen

 

Its not that I don't like Amir khan, yes I'm happy that this knockout has happened to him but still Manny Pacquiao was KO'd twice earlier in his career and he is now Pound for Pound King.
