"well what can i say? i got hit with a hayemaker. he sucks so bad that he had to nick one of my own moves to knock me out. o well, all credit to wlad for thinking of that. the next time we fight i'll spark him with a steel hammer. I'll be back stronger, however i'll need a warm up against a domestic level fighter...bring on hatton for a mega fight!" on a seriously level, imo haye has put alot of pressure on himself with all the trash talking. i think he is realising what he has got himself into. after saying wlad is rubbish and an easy fight, he is now saying that he has to be at his best to beat this guy. i think haye will fall when he gets caught with a short right hand inclose on the head. he has a weak head as he wobbles everytime he is hit there. when he feels the power of just a jab, hayes doubts will kick in. also why does he want to fight like tyson all of a sudden, this will be his downfall. i think he should keep his original style that has got him this far.
like what? circling on the outside waiting for an opening? that's what Iggy did, see how far it's got him against WK.
No. I think he should fight the same as he fought enzo. he countered the jab very effectively and hurt enzo with right hands. he should draw wlad in, throw alot of feints to get wlad of his game. eventually he should get wlad on the rear foot, which isnt easy. If not then he must use in and out foot movement, hand feints to confuse wlad. and catch him when he can. if he can fight on the inside (like toney) then thats great but can he take the power of wlad? even them short punches from wlad hurt bad. hell haye couldnt even take mormecks shots. fighting a peek-a-boo at this stage of his career when he has probably never done it, especially at this level against the champ is PLAIN SUICIDE.
The peek a boo against a guy with long arms like Wladimir is suicide. Yes, it might help stop a few jabs from landing flush, but what happens when Wladimir suddenly hooks off the jab and gets around the peek a boo? That is Wlads favorite punch, and one specifically designed to defeat the peek a boo defense. Haye's only chance is to jab, and quickly hit the body then pull and to the side. Attempting a ko against the much bigger, stronger and accurate puncher is wrong in many ways, but if he sticks and moves, and builds points, he has a chance for a UD. I don't see that outside of the realm of possibility. However, if he tires, and Wlad turns on the jab machine like he did in round 5 of the Calvin Brock fight, Haye is sleeping soon after.
Good plan on paper. However I suspect Wlad will not fully commit to his attacks no matter how inviting Haye's stance will be. Look for a lot of long jabs with a quick half step back or a side step. I'm pretty sure that Wlad is fully aware that Haye is an exceptional counterpuncher who's favorite weapon is the right hand over the top. There's two ways to negate it: one is to not throw jabs and the other is to throw long jabs and to pull back while sort of pushing yourself away from the opponent with you jab, if you know what I mean. WK could probably do both, but the latter is the more natural for him. Watch his footwork in the Ibragimov fight. The former would require infighting skills that WK lacks. Although I do see him getting off first with left hooks from long range and tying Haye up to smother his counter attacks.
David Haye to Wlad...after breathing through a tube overnight.. " The tee shirt was not my idea Wlad"
And you know Wlads answer? "Hey my brother was on that t-shirt as well! You have still trouble with him...."
Difference there though is that Haye was in centre ring when he was trying to come over the top against Enzo. Wlad will be in centre ring when that fight starts, its almost guarnteed, then Haye will have to get by that jab from outside knowing that any lunge could prove fatal because Wlad has the room to step back and counter. Enzo also squares himself up which takes away some of his reach from his jab hand.
1. Hasim Rahman is a former HW champion of the world, he brutally KTFO Lewis, and therefore yes he is more worthy than Haye. Clearly schooled. 2. He got it for the draw, thats a given and that is not the question. 3. You bringing up a loss for a HW dominant champion that has been champion for the last 4 years and made 7 defences of his titles, against top rated guys just shows your bias. Haye has not even fought and beat one single HW challenger yet, while Wlad has been champion for 4 years and beaten 7. Do the maths next time fan boy, before opening the key board.
Haye has a weak chin and has been floored by a shot CW champion before he won the title. He has still not beaten one single HW contender and he is going to get hurt and KTFO by Wlad.
I dont know about David but what wlad fans will say again if Wlad loses... Listen, Im Huge Wlad fan:good but the biggest thing what I dont like in him/hate in him and his nut hugger fans is those ****ing excuses when he loses.. Jesus ****ing Christ...:-(
If you are a fan, then why are you not making a prediction on the outcome of this fight? Are you scared or something?
I already had. I believe Wlad stop him late but having early in bout all he can handle with Dangerous/fast puncher David.
