What would an Ali who was a middleweight or welterweight look like?

I feel like Ali would have been GGG with Amir Khan's speed. Extremely fast, fundamentally sound, Granite Chin.

I also think Loma is a good comparison but only if Loma was Teofimo sized instead of being 5' 7" and undersized.

Leonard was a more complete boxer with much greater power for his division.

Nunn was a southpaw but he had certain similarities.

TBH the boxers are better in the lower weight divisions so a "lighter" Ali would not do so well.

Ali if sized down with everything as it was would be mince meat his skills would be mediocre by 147lbs standards.

Ali was the most skilled heavyweight in history. There has never been a heavyweight who threw 5-7 punch combinations before Ali and we haven't seen it since. Combine that with his impeccable footwork, he had middleweight skill at heavyweight.

Depends what you mean most skilled? Ali has great hand and foot speed but he didn’t have an outstanding left hook or much of a body attack on the inside. Also he’s not the only heavyweight ever to throw quick multi punch combos.

I think if he was a middleweight he would look and fight like Michael Nunn but obviously not as a southpaw like Nunn was.
