He retired after September and came back 3 years later, as a heavier and slower version of himself(say fully making 160) and fought a #1 P4P GGG, And Won. Not in normal, out speeding fashion due to his loss of hand speed and foot speed , but did it differently, and still got job done.

The only way PBF would beat GGG is if he did hit and runs all night. There is no way he could stand in front of GGG for more than a second and expect to make it through 10-12 rounds.

Obviously it would be a huge achievement. To come back and beat the top 160lber whether it is GGG at the time or not would be huge, and doubly so if the top 160lber was considered a top5 p4p fighter at the time.

GGG will be exposed by then. Hes just the hot trend right now because casuals and Pacquiao fans jumped on the bandwagon.

    :deal
If GGG was #1 P4P and undisputed they would just keep bringing up Floyds name. They did it all of 2008 to Pacquiao until he came back.

If that exact described scenario by the thread starter plays out... then Leonard/Hagler without the controversy, more or less?
