since the gym isn't an option and you have limited funds, I'd suggest:

    med ball
    kettle bells
    chin up bar
an empty industrial sandbag (very cheap, fill it yourself)
    tyre + sledgehammer
couple of big awkward lumps of wood (tree stumps/logs)
rope to climb and drag stuff with

i'm assuming you have some storage/workout space..

good luck with the training. :good

I'd suggest maybe buying a bicycle and a gym membership, and taking a bike ride to the gym.

haha yea the way you put it seems pretty good , my boxing club already has gym equipment (don't use very much since i'd be focused on boxing) so wanted the equipment at home to do an extra session on my own.

sounds good but most of my school buds are alcoholics so i guess i gotta cut with off:-(. Thanks for the idea of the boxing routine but as virus said I don't have any problem with the boxing routine, if you would like you could give me some excercises witht he equipment ant-man stated, (i usually invent some excercises but maybe doing a specific excercise will give a better result

yr welcome mate. imagination and a bit of know how's far more important than loads of equipment. don't need much kit at all to get really effective workouts..

gyms full of a big selection of weights have their uses, but rudimentary kit and bodyweight work gets you a helluva long way, and forces you to become inventive..

    just my four pennorth. :good

I don't think you should go wasting your money on the equipment. A good pair of running shoes, a nice little bike, or save the dough you have. Happy Birthday by the way

Convinced me well enough chal, i'll just save the money up and think of something to buy for myself, (maybe for once i decide to spend my money on something other than boxing) and thanks for the Birthday wishes, Its my sweet 16 and on that day i start the long journey of exams (1 month straight) :patsch

If, as you said, you want to build strength but aren't gonna join a gym, then obviously you'll need to do more than run and cycle..

my fear is that i do something wrong. I personally always hated training on my own cause id probably do something wrong and start another bad habit

My school use to stay open until like 6 at night, so I was able to work out after school. Maybe you should ask the Physical Education instructors to start a workout or fitness club?
