he has gone to purse bids to fight smith in an eliminator for british title they r due 8th august. he had 2 english title fights fall thru ( one thru tv and one thru injury to chris male) then his team decided not to take up the option for the fight to happen towards the end of the season. i did see a rumour on here he cud move up to super but like i say a rumour. cant see the smith fight happening gym mates so who knows where he goes from here maybe the winner of male v fernandes who fight for english title in october
He ought to insist on the Smith fight if it's there. Gym mates or not. Swifty seems to lack confidence at the minute understandably, draw him into an inside battle and you've a great chance. He simply cannot fight in close, the weakest I've ever seen. The style he's trying to use just doesn't suit him at all.
