I didn't see anything controversial about the stoppages. It's not like the other guys were on top and then got clipped - leading to a dodgy halt to proceedings. They were generally beating their opponents handily.
Because they gave him more oppurtunity that he deserved to recover in the vein hope that he may survive the round and come out better in the 2nd.

Do you think had the shoe been on the other foot and Dilks had De Gale under such pressure it would have been waved off? Do you think Brook would have been stopped with the same graze?
The Dilks stoppage was an absolute disgrace.So he was under a bit of pressure on the ropes,the 6 punches that De Gale threw only 1 actually landed,it stinks.Then on the other hand we see a ref who is obviously happy to see Enzo get killed,he should be struck off for not stopping it after the 1st knockdown.
I think it's the lack of consistency that gets to people, but every ref is different. It's worth noting that Howard Foster is generally pretty cautious, his stoppage of Jon Thaxton against Murray was disgraceful, this one was a bit iffy, though he timed Roy Jones well against Danny Green. Mickey Vann was quite a good ''stopper'' in that he gave the opponent every chance, as is John Keane - stopping Enzo vs Haye and Sexton against Chisora at the exact correct time. The major issue for me is the number of mismatches - if a bloke shouldn't really be in there with a top prospect I'd imagine the referee will be terrified of having a serious injury on his conscience, and rightly so. Dave Parris is the one that seemingly has an agenda (not related to the promoter at all) when he refs a fight - he's given several fights against Danny Williams that Danny won, 2 of the 3 deductions in the first McDermott fight were BS.... and have gave Kevin Mitchell every possible opportunity to recover against Katsidis breaking them up all the time. The European refs are pretty clueless, it has to be said, the Enzo fight just proves it.
On the Khan fight they were doing absolutely everything to keep that 0. Letting him continue after the first knock down was bad enough but to then start a count on the second one and not just wave it off straight away was criminal.
