Sounded to me like he was calling out the Kleichko ( sorry for the mispell ) brothers. He said if they don't think I'm ready its going to be another loss for them. I like Arreola....just needs to lay off the Coronas.
You can all forget Povetkin until Wlad is done with him, his camp wouldnt take a risky fight with Arreola before Wlad, no way, too many knockouts on his resume.:deal I hope he takes another 2 or 3 fights before Wlad next year. I think he's the best chance at taking out Wlad out there. Its gunna take someone who can bang and take hard shots too. Arreola seems capable of both.
Chagaev beat Arreola? I'd put money on Chris. Arreola would hurt him, if Chagaev could make it to the ring which I doubt.
Chagaev has an iron chin. It was best seen in the heavies from his fight with Virchis, but this was well known in the amatuers as well. Also, he is a terrific southpaw counterpuncher who just does not get hit much.
Right, but at least he's almost earned a shot at a title. I don't think beating McCline warrants a shot at one fo the titles, and I think Arreola ought to have to now fight in an eliminator. But, it seems he's now already in line for a beatdown from Vitali. I think that'll be next. If not, a Chambers fight would be somewhat interesting. But I see Chambers beating Arreola, and big VK destroying him......
The McCline KO was not really an impressive feat, given that McCline seemed to say *we are done here, aren't we?* as he started to get to his feet, with little to no effort. McCline had retired, given up, gotten fat, and merely took this fight for one more paycheck. Don't let Arreola KOing a willing to be KOed opponent come across as anything noteworthy.
And when he's healthy, he has tremendous TREMENDOUS head movement. Problem is I think Chagaev isn't right nowadays..so Arreola would probably beat him.
In all honesty, I have no idea. I keep waiting for Arreola to show up in shape for a fight, and he hasnt. Does he impress in his action style? He does But he has no legs and his dedication to the sport is questionable. He cant keep believing he can show up a fat **** and win fights.
It's a shame Sam Peter lost his last fight. I'd like to see Peter and Arreola go at it. Not exactly a technical boxing clinic but it'd be fun to watch.
