Whilst he was beating Lindsay up to the time of the stoppage..... he has since lost his subsequent fight.... also by stoppage, with Lindsay going on to stop Appleby impressively. He needs a lower level fight or two before tackling an eliminator against someone like Truscott or Appleby - I'd back both to beat him however.
Retire, he was battered by Choi then knocked out cold by Lindsay. He's not to old to start a new career,good luck to him.
Didn't he lose to Ramagoadi wasn't it on the Dodson Quigley fight controversially? Was at the fight but Matthews was on first didnt see that fight. Agreed he was doing well against Lindsay imo until that brutal KO. Underated fight that imo also, the momentum changed once or twice if I remember right, very good fight.
I could see him in the circus as one of those clowns with long legs. Alternatively he'd make a good household brush. Simply grab your streamlined Derry, brush up any mess and slip him back into the cupboard. No questions asked.
