As I said, he is flawed!

A very good fighter, just not a great fighter.

Does that mean he was a "hype job"? No! He had all the physical talent and skills required to reach the top level. He just didn't have all the intangibles needed to reach that next level.

HOW does that make him a hype job?

i would say a rematch with froch
ONLY THIS TIME IN NOTTINGHAM OR LONDON, SO WE CAN ****ING SEE IT

  3. Still a loss

Doesn't matter if it's in the first or in the last... a KO is a KO

But I agree I don't think Taylor is finished.... Froch is a warrior, most fighters would have buckled with the amount of punishment Taylor dished out.

JT would have beat 90% of the SMW division with that preformance imo

I never claimed he was a "hype job." More of a disappointment than anything else. Do you remember the post fight interview after he beat Hopkins the first time? Taylor was asked if he was going to start training immediately for the rematch. His answer was no, he would commence training 6 weeks before the date of the match. At the time I wondered if 6 weeks was enough to correct his mistakes and learn the things he needed to learn to beat Hopkins decisively. We all know what happened. Taylor just isn't committed enough to boxing to force himself up to the next level.

    He's done at elite level.
He was good but to much overrated for what he was.
He never has fixed his problems he had(stamina, bad defense, etc).

the is no way in hell Jermain should look to retire. Seriously. He is still a marquee name in the division. Get back in the gym, train your ass off, and get back in the ring. 1 tuneup fight, another fight against a guy like Bika or Balszay, and then he's right back in the mix.
