What's so bad about catchweights?

    if no title is on the line then i don't really care, although if u do fight at a catchweight the win still wouldn't be as big if you actually fought someone at an actual weight class.


    catch weights are **** if you are fighting for the belt say you agree to a 145 catchweight and come in at 147 you would get penalized although you are still fighting within the welterweight limit.

    if a fighter cant make the weight, he needs to fight in the divison that he can make weight. when the division is only a 6 pound swing....come in a whatever weight you want....
    middleweight 155 pounds through 160 pounds

    there should be NO catchweight between a 6 pound limit....thats hore****

    whats next...catchweight between 112 pound superfly and 115 pound bantams?
