What's the best dog for roadwork?

    I used to have a small mutt, he hated walking miles. I notice Manny Pacquiao has a dog training with him on the hills running. My pup would drag his butt everytime I went for a kms walk. During running I had to carry him half of the way as his legs gave out. I know pugs are lazy, but what are the best dogs for running?

    Pittbulls have a ton of energy and you have to have stable legs because they can drag a grown man easily.

    One that makes you carry him is a bonus arm workout though, maybe get a big slow one?
