I hear a lot of talk of fighters wanting say 50/50 or 60/40 split to take the fight.
Does this mean they won't fight unless they get a higher cut ? win or lose
seems to me whom ever wins should get the higher cut if not where's the insentive ?
Maybe I have it wrong, thanks in advance :good

yea boxing doesn't work like that.

The purse split is determined before the fight, winning or losing generally only affects your bargaining power for your next fight.

In boxing if the winner always got a bigger share of the purse then cherrypicking would increase exponentially.
