I just found this guy's record on Boxrec just to prove he exists, because if nobody gets the answer, you would think that I made it up!

I'm not surpised he had trouble getting a fictional detective to adjudicate... I think you mean he offered it to the author of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Also, it was Jack Johnson who suggested Tex Rickard should be the ref, he thought he would give him a fair fight seeing as he was promoting it and wouldn't want to ruin his name.

    Good facts though.

You know Langford was in my mind when this question was originally asked, and I totally forgot all about him! No it's not the one I'm thinking of.

I'll give you all a small clue: This guy had perhaps one of the toughest pro debuts ever!

    Okay, another small clue:

The two champions this guy has faced, were world champions at multiple weights each.

    Honestly....I have no ****in' clue:patsch

Anyways, here's mine again; an ATG P4P fighter (with a 'racist' first name ;-)) who lost one fight early on before going on a 100+win streak.
    He was never beaten again.

    Anyone?!?!?!?!?
