Why is it? Williams would most likely beat all three of the welterweights at welterweight from that top 5.
1. Manny Pacquiao 2. Shane Mosley 3. Floyd Mayweather Jr. 4. Bernard Hopkins 5. Juan Manuel Marquez 6. Nonito Donaire 7. Arthur Abraham 8. Juan Manuel Lopez 9. Vic Darchinyan 10. Paul Williams
1. Pacquiao. 2. Mosley, possibly joint no.1 if he beats Mayweather in impressive fashion... 3. Mayweather, former no.1, moves to no.2 if he beats Mosley. 4. Hopkins, HAS to beat Jones then face Dawson...Pavlik was a long time ago. 5. Marquez, just, needs an impressive win next time out. 6. W Klitschko. Can't decide the rest.
I agree on certain fighters on the list, but the excuse of Calderon and Nonito of not being active enough is not fair. If anything this could also be apply to Mosley and even Mayweather himself.
Mosley shouldn't really be in the lists - I know he has a fight lined up, but he hasn't fought for over a year so I agree with you there. However Calderon hasn't looked great in his last couple of fights and I feel that he should be dropped down the 'rankings' because of this. Donaire is lowered because of his recent competition, although I still feel he is in the top 15 P4P.
I don't have him that high, but he is about 5-7 on my list (haven't done one in a while and I can't remember exactly where I put him).
