I'm not, I'm judging him on his recent wins. Hrgovic looked like hell in his win over Zhang, looked awful against McKean and was steamrolled by Dubois and Joyce isn't as shot as you're making him out to be. At this particular moment in time, Chisora is better than both of them. I'm sure that will change in the coming months. So calm down.

There is no way Chisora is better than either of them right now. Chisora looked washed as hell in his last fight at 40 years old. He would have got seriously hurt in there against any serious operator. Wallin is just useless.

I always base my lists on the perceived level of the fighters in my eye in the specific moment. Or else just rank it as who’s got the best wins.

How long do fans rate someone for historical wins and past achievements?
    2 - 4 years?
Although I expect some of my top 10 would lose to some fighters outside of it. I try to do ratings fairly based on results as well as overall records

    Champion - Usyk
    No question

    1. Dubois
For recent wins over Undefeated Miller, Undefeated Hrgovic, Joshua

    2. Parker
For recent wins over Wilder and Zhang

    3. Kabayel
For recent wins over Undefeated Makhmudov, Undefeated Sanchez, Zhang

    4. Joshua
A bit of historical ratings involved here as a unified champion with several defences over top 10 rated competition and recent stoppage win over Wallin

    5. Fury
A bit of historical ratings involved here as a champion but last win over a top 10 rated opponent nearly 3 years ago

    6. Hrgovic
    Beat Undefeated Zhang

    7. Zhang
Close debatable fight with Hrgovic and clear win over Wilder

    8. Whyte
A bit historical ratings but has several good wins in the division - Parker, Browne, Helenius, Povetkin, Rivas, Chisora

    9. Bakole
    Recent win over Undefeated Anderson

    10. Chisora
Surprise entry but has recent wins over Joyce and Wallin

Very debatable but don't think there is much debate with top 4 names
    Usyk
    Dubois
    Parker
    Kabayel

    At the moment,

    1. Usyk
    2. Dubois
    3. Kabayel
    4. Parker
    5. Joshua
    6. Fury
    7. Wardley
    8. Miller
    9. Itauma
    10. Zhang (But falling fast. He should retire. Although he did floor Parker and Kabayel a combined three times in those two losses. But a good win by anyone in the coming months probably bounces him from my top 10. He just aged out.)

Shocking that so many people have Joshua as high as #5 when his best win in SEVEN years is an untrained 283 pound Andy Ruiz Jr, and he just got blown out by Dubois after being dominated 2x by Usyk.

How on earth is that top 5. Lardo Ruiz is the best win in almost a decade.

I can see why Joshua would have that rating.
I'm not saying it isn't subjective but can see the reasons
If someone faces more top rated competitors there is more chance of losing.
Joshua has been a winner of more world title fights than any of the other current top 10 HWs, has the joint top HW unification wins.
Sometimes fighters tend to move up the ratings by not beating anyone of note and not losing when others lose because they took greater risks.
Since Joshua's losses to Usyk, he hasn't won any major fights but it can also come down to how someone performs against common opponents as well sometimes.
Joshua looked impressive against Wallin who was in the top 10 when he fought him, stopping him in a one sided fight.
Some are putting Chisora in their top 10 where his last win was a competitive points win over the same Wallin.
So sometimes it can also be a bit historical if not too long ago.
I guess a better example could be...
Chisoras last 3 fights/wins are Wallin, Joyce and Washington
Fury's were loss to Usyk, loss to Usyk, Ngannou
But you wouldn't suddenly put Chisora above Fury as Fury has beaten Chisora 3 times and has historically a very good career even though Fury's last win over a top 10 rated HW was nearly 3 years ago
    Does that make sense?

Bakole above Parker makes no sense. actually I’m sure you said bakole would smash Parker’s face in.

Fury beat Chisora and Whyte (two long time top 10 operators) recently without either of them landing a glove on him. He then had two very competitive fights with the clear #1 in Usyk. This all occured within the last 2 years, 9 months. This warrants a very high ranking.

Wallin wasn't top 10 when Joshua beat him and showed that he never was nor could be top 10 in his loss to Chisora. To rank Joshua highly you need to time travel back to 2018, but that's not how rankings work. People are ranking with their feelings and not being objective. The guy just got ran through and obliterated by Dubois to go along with his two one-sided losses to Usyk.

He's done nothing great for us lately (past 7 years). Does that make sense?

No I said Dubois would smash Parker’s head in. Bakole could if he had a full camp but I don’t see how it’s fair to use that fight as a good representation of him knowing the circumstances.

The division is in a transition phase. The younger guys are all stepping up. That's good.

But one KO win over Demsey McKean, for instance, doesn't warrant being automatically higher than someone who has been near the top for a decade.

Usyk's at the very top. And Joshua fought Usyk close twice (closer than Fury did). Joshua KOed Ngannou in one (Fury barely got past him). Joshua stopped Wallin easily (Chisora is getting praise just for huffing and puffing his way to a points win over the same guy).

Joshua's power keeps him ranked in the middle (for me) for the time being. But another demolition loss, like last time out, and he's gone. Joshua, Fury, Zhang are all about done.

Usyk isn't far behind. But the younger guys have to keep stepping up.
