No particular order Pep Moore SRR Ali Louis Charles Mayweather (that’s right haters lol) Duran Armstrong RJJ (glad I’m not the only one) I will say I didn’t forget about Greb and Langford it’s more their poor era that gets me to vote otherwise. But the amount of fights they had is commendable and records thag will never be broken
1. Sugar Ray Robinson 2. Joe Louis 3. Benny Leonard 4. Henry Armstrong 5. Muhammad Ali 6. Willie Pep 7. Ezzard Charles 8. Roberto Duran 9. Sam Langford 10. Emile Griffith
Have not redone one like I mean to as I keep putting it off. but at last note: 1 SRR 2 Greb 3 Armstrong 4 Langford 5 Charles 6 Benny Leonard 7 Fitzsimmons 8 Gans 9 Louis 10 Ali
He was a great Welterweight in a tough era. The level of his comp was top shelf. He also moved up and won the Middleweight Crown. Griffith had longevity. He even gave the great Monzon a brutal fight when Emile was way past it. He fought everyone. A great all around fighter. He could do everything. Its criminal how overlooked he is.
I like the inclusion of Wilde personally (FMJ as well although I have not rated him as of yet...I do feel he is top 20-25 at the worst)...I kind of (Still fleshing it out and have not worked on it recently) have him (meaning Wilde) around 11/12 with Duran. I know his record is incomplete but I also know you did some digging into him a little deeper a while back. I have seen him top 10 before but not often anymore...anything you can add to justify a top 10 would be appreciated. Not criticizing just genuinely curious and interested to learn.
