Call it a work in progress - rightly or wrongly, I honestly don't know where to place him.

For Wilde. The big thing for me is the size differences he was overcoming and consistently winning.

He impresses me a lot on film, and his opponents look decent to me too

It isn't normal to have Tommy there imo,but at least he has some credentials to be considered, unlike Papp,Savon &Stevenson!

You really do make disingenuousness your own personal art form.

Most of these lists seem good to me. Some years ago it seemed to be a bit of a no-no to have HWs on the list, but now I see Ali and Louis on quite a few, which I think is very reasonable seen to their more or less unmatched dominance of one weight class.

SRL, Pac and Floyd don't make too many lists, but I think they have a good case. RJJ as well, seen to his absolutely ridiculous dominance at his peak. I have never seen any other fighter making world class opponents look as overmatched as Roy did for ten years straight.

But to put some of the above in, you have bump others and that isn't an easy job. Armstrong and SRR are musts. So is probably Charles. I don't know Langford and Greb in depth, but I know they had some just silly achievements. Same for Fitz. That's six right there, and then you also have Duran, Pep, Ali and Louis, B. Leonard etc. So it's a tough one.

But the 15 guys named here are probably the strongest contenders imo.

No sportsman is. That he also had to throw "Clay" in the mix with the flagrant lie that he didn't which Ali it was just shows his dirty agenda. Not much we discuss here deserves to get upset about, but when it comes to posters like him I feel nothing but contempt.
