    That was a good fight overshadowed by a Pacfight. If Pac or Mayweather fight it's gonna be talked about for weeks to the exclusion of everythng else.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but is not boxing about hitting and not being hit? Easy equation, the guy who lands the most and gets hit the least wins. Who invented the mysterious power punch scoring? It doesn't officially exist so why is it spoken of?

    Floyd counters AND outlands his opponents by a WIDE margin. Marquez didn't even outland Pac.

    Of all Floyd's fights this would be the most equivalent to Floyd/DLH had the decision gone to DLH because of his aggressiveness.

    Imagine the controversy that would have caused.

    Imagine the arguments for DLH retaining title due to him being the champion, moving forward, and trying to make the fight.

    All it would have took was for the judges to have seen things like that for a mirror-like situation happening.

    What Marquez did last night to Pacquiao is what Hopkins did to Pavlik and Antonio Tarver, a complete schooling.....and look at the accolades Hopkins got for those fights......

    Had it been Hopkins in there instead of Marquez, some of the clowns in here (*******s excluded) who thought this fight was close would have been making a case Hopkins shutout Manny Pacquiao.

    A few weeks earlier, HBO (and especially Kellerman) bent over backward to justify why Hopkins should have been considered as "winning" his fight with Dawson prior to the ending. They even went so far as to say he should get credit simply for fighting his usual slow-paced counterpunching style, while the other guy should be penalized for not setting as fast a pace as he said he would beforehand.

    Now Marquez does basically the same thing, only far more efficiently, but HBO now claims that kind of strategy is "Not doing enough."

    that was only HBO. HBO protects money may and pac, not that money needs any protection but you never know when a castillo 1 happens.

    your boy got rob by HBO, not Arum or pac. If that was floyd/hopkins and not marquez, pac wouldn't even win a single round off those 3 judges

    I disagree. Floyd disagrees too. If that was the case Floyd would have already schooled Pac, rematched him, and collected his easy $100 million. But no, it was vacation, domestic violence, then neeeding TWO sucker punches to beat Ortiz.
